Chiropractic care is a widely recognized health profession that focuses on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those affecting the spine. The philosophy behind chiropractic is that proper alignment of the body's musculoskeletal structure, especially the spine, will enable the body to heal itself without medication or surgery. For active individuals, professionals, or anyone experiencing the general stresses of daily life in Colorado, chiropractic adjustments can play a vital role in alleviating pain, improving mobility, and boosting overall functional health. It’s an approach centered on the body’s natural healing capabilities, promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Curis Functional Health, under the care of Dr. White, offers a range of chiropractic services designed to address various patient needs, from chronic pain management to general wellness. While specific methods may vary, a professional chiropractic practice typically includes:
- Spinal Adjustments and Manipulations: The core of chiropractic treatment, focusing on correcting misalignments in the spine to alleviate nerve pressure and improve bodily function.
- Personalized Treatment Plans: Dr. White is noted for taking the time to listen to patient concerns and thoroughly explain treatment plans tailored to individual needs, aiming for improvements in overall well-being.
- Chronic Pain Management: Assisting patients dealing with long-term pain, working towards significant relief and improved quality of life.
- Wellness Adjustments / Tune-ups: Providing ongoing care to maintain spinal health, prevent issues, and promote general wellness, even for those not experiencing acute pain.
- Consultation and Examination: Thorough assessments to diagnose conditions and determine the most appropriate course of chiropractic care.
- Patient Education: Guiding patients on exercises, posture, and lifestyle modifications to support their healing and long-term health.
Curis Functional Health, particularly through the work of Dr. White, offers several key features and highlights that are attractive to prospective patients. Based on available feedback, these include:
- Experienced and Attentive Practitioner: Dr. White is described as "awesome" and an "expert in his field," who genuinely cares about his patients’ health. He is praised for taking the time to listen to concerns and thoroughly explain treatment plans.
- Friendly Staff: The clinic's staff is noted for being friendly, contributing to a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients.
- Commitment to Patient Explanations: A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring patients understand their condition and the proposed treatment, fostering trust and active participation in their recovery.
- Focus on Overall Well-being: Beyond just pain relief, the practice aims for improvements in patients' overall well-being, indicating a holistic approach to health.
- Potential for Long-Term Relationships: Some patients have maintained relationships with Dr. White for many years, suggesting a history of consistent and reliable care.
However, it is important for prospective patients to also be aware of a patient review that highlights some concerns. This review mentions:
- Perceived Shift in Focus: A long-term patient noted a perceived negative change in how the office is run, suggesting a decreased focus on patient care and an increased concern for financial aspects, potentially coinciding with becoming part of the Curis network.
- Billing Concerns: A patient reported an issue with billing after a car accident, where the practice allegedly charged inflated insurance amounts even after medical payment coverage ran out, and later presented a large bill without prior discussion or offering the self-pay option that was previously utilized. This led to a feeling of being treated as a "dollar sign" rather than a respected patient.
- Confidentiality Concerns: The same review raised concerns about patient confidentiality, citing instances where a provider allegedly shared private information about other patients.
While these concerns are from one perspective, they are important for any potential patient to consider when evaluating their options. It is always advisable to discuss any billing or privacy questions directly with the clinic before commencing treatment.

Mar 07, 2025 · Lawrence EvansI was a patient of Dr. White for approximately 10 years. Recently, I have noticed some changes in the way the office is run, negatively impacting the treatment I received. It seems focus on patient care has decreased, while concern for money has increased. This change seems to coincide with becoming part of the Curis network, so possibly the new interest in money is mandated from above.I always paid the self-pay price for my visits, between $40 and $55 over the past decade. In the midst, I was in a car accident, after which Dr. White charged my insurance about 7-8 times that amount. When my insurance med pay ran out (quickly!) Dr. White continued to charge me the inflated insurance amount. Then after the fact presented me with a bill for over $10K! What? I wonder why Dr. White didn't give me the opportunity to pay the cash price, rather than the inflated price? No one in the office even spoke with me about it until after the fact.I contacted Dr. White directly to ask him to allow me to pay the self-pay price for all my visits and he said No. Instead of being treated like a respected patient as in years prior, I now felt I was being treated as a dollar sign.I also have concerns about patient confidentiality in this office. One of the providers has shared private information about other patients with me numerous times behind closed doors.I'm sorry Dr. White, but these are the reasons I needed to find another chiropractor.
Dec 27, 2024 · Stacy GerySaw Dr. White after injuring my neck in a car accident. He very abrasively treated my neck with his “snap & pop” method, the way he treats his large athletes. I believe he caused my neck to be more severely injured than it was originally. I learned later that necks are to be treated very carefully, as this is a very delicate part of the body with the most nerves. I learned from my neurosurgeon that many surgical cases come from injuries from chiropractors. I regret ever being treated by Dr. White. There are chiro docs who are adopting less abrasive treatment for the neck. Be sure to find out before you let them touch you.
Jan 12, 2025 · Audra BethanyDr White is the best chiropractor I have found in this town. He is caring and listens to your concerns thoroughly. I've been a patient now on and off for about 6 years. He helps me function better and not be in pain.
Feb 28, 2024 · Arlene AlvarezI absolutely love going to Dr. Caleb White’s office for readjustments. Dr. White did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable even though it was my first appointment at a chiropractor. His whole staff is very professional and friendly and it is always a pleasure coming in for appointments.
