Navigating healthcare options can sometimes be challenging, and finding a trusted local provider is often a priority. Mechanicsburg Chiropractic Center, led by Dr. Stu Druckman, is a local establishment that aims to serve the community's chiropractic needs. This article provides an overview of their practice, covering their location, the services they offer, and important insights from patient experiences, all from the perspective of a local user in Pennsylvania. Understanding what a local chiropractic center offers is key to making informed decisions about your health and finding the right support for your well-being.
Chiropractic care is a widely recognized health discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine. The core philosophy behind chiropractic is that proper alignment and function of the spine are crucial for the optimal operation of the nervous system, which controls nearly every function of the body. When there are misalignments, or "subluxations," in the spine, they can interfere with nerve signals, potentially leading to pain, reduced mobility, and various other health concerns. A Doctor of Chiropractic, such as Dr. Stu Druckman, is trained to identify and correct these misalignments through precise, hands-on adjustments. This approach aims to restore proper joint mechanics, alleviate nerve interference, and empower the body's natural healing abilities. For those of us living in Pennsylvania, whether dealing with chronic conditions, injuries from daily activities, or simply seeking proactive wellness, chiropractic care offers a drug-free and non-invasive pathway to improved health, vitality, and better quality of life.

Mechanicsburg Chiropractic Center presents a mixed picture based on patient feedback, highlighting both positive aspects and areas of concern. It is important for potential patients in Pennsylvania to consider all facets to make an informed decision:
- Positive Experiences with VA Community Care Program: At least one veteran patient has reported consistently good experiences with billing through the VA Community Care program and effective adjustments, appreciating the office's accommodating nature and ability to find appointment slots. This suggests a capacity for smooth interactions for some patients, particularly those under this specific program.
- Expertise in Adjustments: A positive review highlights that adjustments have "always been good," indicating that Dr. Druckman is skilled in the core practice of chiropractic care. His website also refers to him as a specialist in correcting subluxations.
- Accommodating Appointment Scheduling: The center has been praised for being "very good at finding you a time slot for an appointment" and being "fair and accommodating," which is a valuable feature for busy individuals.
- Concerns Regarding Billing Practices: However, a significant highlight from another review points to serious allegations of fraudulent billing to the Veterans Administration for services not rendered. This raises concerns about ethical practices and financial transparency.
- Issues with Wait Times and Patient Flow: A detailed negative review describes excessive wait times (unnoticed for 20 minutes, then 10 minutes for paperwork, followed by 1 hour and 15 minutes in a treatment room with minimal doctor interaction), suggesting potential organizational challenges.
- Lack of Professionalism and Privacy Concerns: The negative review also highlights a perceived lack of professionalism, including Dr. Druckman allegedly discussing protected health information in front of other patients in the waiting room, which is a significant privacy breach.
- Communication and Customer Service Issues: Difficulties reaching the office, as evidenced by "voicemail always full" and being "very hard to reach," indicate significant communication challenges that could frustrate patients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been seeing Dr. Druckman for two years now. I go through the VA community care program and have never had an issue with billing. My adjustments have always been good and I will continue to receive treatment here. They are very good at finding you a time slot for an appointment. They have always been fair and accommodating and it’s greatly appreciated.
Apr 30, 2025 · Forrest RodmanFRAUDULENTLY BILLED THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dr. Stu may be a fine chiropractor, there are countless other adequate and honest providers in the area. He appears sweaty and disheveled in person, which makes sense when you consider the type of business practices he engages in.I attempted to schedule an evaluation and treatment through the VA Community Care program. I was excited to start the relationship. Upon arriving I was unnoticed after signing in for 20 minutes. After finally being acknowledged, I took about 10 minute to fill out initial paperwork. I was then placed in a treatment office for about an hour and 15 minutes. About halfway through this period, Dr. Stu poked his head in the room and said “I’ll be with you in a few minutes.” 45 minutes later, as this was an evening appointment I had to report back for my children’s bed time ritual. This was after an hour and a half past my appointment time with no end in sight. All of this could have been discounted if not for the way Dr. Stu handled my walking out. I told him that maybe we could try again any other day, but my family obligations superseded my spending another 30-45 minutes in his office. He told me that it wasn’t his fault, and there was turnover in his administrative personnel that was to blame. He also told me that the first 30 minute delay was due to me filling out paperwork (factually inaccurate). He also told me that if I wanted chiropractic care from the VA, that it would need to be through him because the VA wouldn’t let me change provider (also inaccurate). He decided to have this conversation in front of other patients, which was in poor taste. The implication was that if I didn’t get care though him this evening that I wouldn’t be able to get relief from my ailment needing treatment. He carried on a conversation with my protected health information in front of 3 other patients in the waiting room. Extremely poor taste.Dr. Stu’s office also billed the VA nearly $200 dollars. FOR WHAT?! I clearly didn’t receive what he claimed on the bill. It wasn’t a “missed appointment” he clearly had patients during my appointment slot and I was an excess. Was this a missed appointment fee? How can this be I was there and the office wanted me to stay HOURS after this appointment? I should have billed him for wasting my time.Dr Stu: I’m not receiving care froman actual professional. Please stop billing the VA (taxpayer money) for services not rendered. I’ll continue to tell everyone I can about the practices of this office. Hopefully I can turn as many people away from your office as possible. What a slimeball!
Feb 06, 2024 · Jay BeeToday was my first of many visits with Dr. Stu and I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars. He made me feel so relaxed while thoroughly explaining what sort of adjustments I needed. Yes, the mask is optional but that doesn't stop me from getting the best bedside manner I've encountered in quite some time.

Feb 01, 2022 · Hannah BlancoGreat staff even better chiro! Takes time to listen and he doesn't see his patients just as patients. He takes the time to get to know you as a person. I've always walked away from the office feeling great after being adjusted. Highly recommended!!
