Based on patient reviews, Truspine offers a diverse set of services that extend beyond traditional chiropractic adjustments. This multi-faceted approach seems to be a key part of their practice, allowing them to address a wide range of conditions and patient needs.
Services offered may include:
Chiropractic Adjustments: At the core of their practice, Truspine provides chiropractic adjustments to improve spinal alignment and joint function. Patients have noted that even "minor adjustments" can lead to "significant" improvements in tightness and discomfort, particularly in the neck and shoulders. This fundamental service is aimed at restoring proper body mechanics and reducing pain.
Dry Needling Therapy: This is a standout service mentioned in multiple reviews. Dry needling is a technique used to target and release myofascial trigger points, which are often the cause of muscle pain and knots. Patients have described it as "effective at muscle pain relief and knot releases," suggesting it's a powerful tool in their treatment arsenal, particularly for those with chronic tension in areas like the shoulders and back.
Acupuncture: One patient review specifically mentioned that Dr. Philip Reh also performs acupuncture for stress and fatigue. This suggests that Truspine takes a broader view of wellness, incorporating ancient practices to address not just physical pain but also systemic issues like stress. This can be a significant draw for locals who are looking for a more holistic approach to their health.
Injury Management and Prevention: The clinic seems to have a strong focus on helping patients manage and heal from injuries, especially those related to sports and intense physical activity. A review from an endurance runner highlights how the clinic helped them heal while continuing to train, demonstrating a tailored approach to recovery that doesn't necessarily mean stopping all physical activity.
Personalized Treatment Plans: The mention of working together weekly before progressing to maintenance appointments every three weeks shows that the practice develops individualized treatment plans. This tailored approach ensures that each patient's unique condition and goals are addressed, from initial relief to long-term wellness.

Based on the available customer feedback, here are some key features and highlights that make Truspine stand out:
Expertise in Diverse Therapies: The practice's offering of chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, and acupuncture under one roof is a major highlight. This variety allows for a more comprehensive and potentially more effective treatment plan, as different methods can be combined to address a single issue from multiple angles.
Specialization in Sports and High-Performance Recovery: Reviews from an endurance runner suggest that the practice is well-suited for athletes. The ability to help a patient heal from an injury without compromising their training schedule is a unique and valuable feature, appealing to San Francisco's active community.
Highly Skilled Practitioners: Patients have specifically named and praised doctors like Philip Reh and KJ, highlighting their effectiveness and ability to "read the body." This personal recognition suggests a high level of patient satisfaction and a strong doctor-patient relationship, which is crucial for successful care.
Effective Pain Relief: Multiple reviews mention immediate relief after appointments and significant improvement in daily comfort and overall well-being. This is a powerful testament to the effectiveness of their treatments, especially for chronic issues like shoulder tension and back pain.
Excellent Administrative Support: The ease of scheduling and the helpfulness of the front desk team, like Jenny, is noted as a highlight. A smooth administrative process can greatly enhance the overall patient experience, making it easier to book appointments and navigate the logistics of care.

Truspine Reviews
Dr. Philip Reh is incredible - I look forward to every visit with him! As an avid endurance runner, I started going to truspine because I was dealing with 1-sided SI joint pain (uncomfortable stiffness and tightness around the hip, lower back, and glutes) for weeks on end with no improvement. I train pretty intensely and did not want to take off time as many doctors might recommend. Dr. Reh understood this and helped me on a path towards improvement that didn’t compromise my training - I was able to run 3 separate races (10k, half marathon, 10k) while healing the injury (while getting stronger and seeing improvements each race)Dr. Reh is so good at reading the body and treats efficiently - I feel immediate relief after every visit. He has also done acupuncture for stress and fatigue which I can quickly notice improvements in as well.We started working together weekly for the first few visits before he recommended a progression to maintenance (every 3 weeks). I am pain-free now and able to train at my peak without a fear of setting back progress or causing further injury.Furthermore, scheduling with Truspine is so easy and Jenny & the front desk team has been so helpful with coordinating appointments at the two locations (I also recently started seeing Dr. Fein for chiro adjustments).
May 22, 2025 · Jamie YuTruSpine is the best; honestly life-changing care and treatments. I’d never tried dry needling therapy before (with Philip Reh) and nothing else has been as effective at muscle pain relief and knot releases. I have a lot of tension and inflammation in my shoulders and mid back (traps and rhomboids) and Philip has significantly helped improve my daily comfort and overall well-being since I’ve started our appointments. I also recently started chiropractic treatments with Dr. KJ and even his minor adjustments help significantly with my neck and shoulder tightness. Thank you so much for everything!
