Chiropractic care is a healthcare discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those affecting the spine, through non-invasive manual adjustments. The fundamental belief is that proper alignment of the body's musculoskeletal structure, especially the spine, enables the body's inherent ability to heal itself without the need for medication or surgery. Chiropractors utilize hands-on spinal manipulation and other complementary techniques to correct misalignments (subluxations) that can interfere with nerve function, leading to pain, restricted movement, and a variety of other health issues. The "Rehabilitation" aspect of the Spine and Sports Center of Chicago further emphasizes a holistic approach, often incorporating therapeutic exercises, soft tissue work, and lifestyle guidance to not only alleviate symptoms but also to strengthen the body, improve function, and prevent future injuries. As highlighted by patient testimonials, practitioners like Dr. George and Dr. Cheyanne at this center go above and beyond, listening attentively, diagnosing accurately, and developing comprehensive plans that lead to significant, life-changing improvements for Illinois residents seeking long-term relief and enhanced well-being.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr.George is amazing. First visit, and not only did he diagnose me, but I got my first full night of sleep after 5 years of dealing with neck pain and arm numbness because of him. He listened to all of my questions and concerns and made me feel at ease during the entire appointment. I drove from 3 hours away to be seen and I am so grateful I did. I can’t say enough about how kind Dr.George and his team are, and would easily recommend them to anyone.
Jul 19, 2025 · Jordon EasonDr. Cheyanne has been nothing less than wonderful! I’ve been going to the office for the last several months now and she has been on top of it! She is soft spoken, attentive, takes her time, and makes sure I have an understanding of what’s going on with my body when I come in. She listens when I’m having a great day and also on the days when my brain is on fire. The days my brain is on fire, she is always able to work on my body while also filling me up with encouragement. She takes the time to look at me as a whole person, not just my problem spot, and that is truly priceless! Through my time seeing Cheyanne, I’ve seen so much improvement! I would recommend Dr. Cheyanne and any of the providers at Spine and Sports Center to any of my friends and loved ones!
May 12, 2025 · Sara LavoldDr. George and his entire staff are beyond amazing! I have never had a provider who listens as intently as Dr. George does, goes above and beyond on a daily basis, genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his patients and has an incredible ability to connect with his patients to make sure that they feel heard and validated. Dr. George is a stellar doctor and an even better person. He understands his intricate craft brilliantly ,but equally importantly, he knows his limits. He isn’t scared to tell you that he doesn’t know the answer but he will do the homework to either find the answer or refer you out to another provider if and/or when necessary.I have gotten massages from Eli on several occasions as well and he is a reflection of everything that Dr. George embodies. Kayla, at the reception desk, is a delight and puts a smile on my face every time I see or talk to her. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. George and his entire staff at Spine and Sports Center of Chicago. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Feb 25, 2025 · Erin StevensonDr. George is incredible at his job. I’ve come in on separate occasions for back, neck, knee and shoulder issues. He did a thorough analysis of my pain and provided me with several stretches that fixed me up in no time.Best part, I do the stretches regularly and I no longer have chronic lower back pain.I’ve recommended many people here and will continue to do so given his amazing track record and professionalism.
Feb 01, 2025 · Mike OlsonI came to Dr. G because I was feeling generally unwell and having intense jaw pain. I wasn’t sure if my jaw was dislocating or what was going on, but I also had nausea, dizziness, headaches, and constant fatigue. I just felt awful.Dr. G was kind and supportive from the start. He gave me hope but was also realistic about the process. We started working together twice a week doing facial manipulation, intraoral work, dry needling, and some adjustments. Within a couple of weeks, I started to feel better. Now, a few months in, I feel like a completely different person. I don’t feel sick all the time anymore, my headaches have improved, and the jaw pain has decreased significantly. It’s been such a positive and healing experience.Dr. G is incredibly hard-working and always makes time to fit you in. I’m so grateful he was recommended to me and would 100% recommend him to anyone dealing with TMJ issues, looking for dry needling, or in need of a skilled chiropractor.
