Dr. John Helton, DC, is by far one of the most talented and devoted chiropractors I have ever been treated by. He is focused on uncovering the root cause of my aches, pains and weaknesses. I have had a chronic inflammatory condition and since I have been seeing Dr Helton, my overall health has greatly improved. It is odd now if I have issues. I was grateful to have Dr Helton to refer my patients to from my naturopathic practice. They all loved him too. He is old school. One of a kind.

I went to see Dr. Helton after finally realizing that the knot in my upper left back had caused me stress and pain for over two years. I am very athletic, lift weights, but was still accepting this ongoing pain, pretending a good massage would heal it, until it didn't and I came upon Dr. Helton's chiropractic clinic on the way home from work. I made an appointment, knowing from the start that I was committed to go to visit Dr. Helton until my back was truly better. After making the appointment, this was the second good move I made. It is essential to go in knowing that it may take a few visits to solve a problem you've had for years. The intake appointment seemed long, but it is because he is thorough and really needs all of the information to make your treatment plan.Dr. Helton is incredibly talented and experienced. He is so knowledgeable that it is as if his hands and fingers can see for themselves. Sincerely. The man is a wealth of knowledge, truly skilled. I experienced some wonderful back cracking, and some neck cracks that made my upper back feel like it was trembling with joy. Dr. Helton gave me excellent guidance on many health-related matters, as well as stories of brewing Kombucha decades before it was available at the grocery store.I didn't want to write this until I could honestly declare these words: my back pain, the knot I had for years, is gone. Dr. Helton helped me so much...and I will be back to visit as a means of maintaining my health, posture, and balance.I highly recommend this Doctor.

I've waited four years to write this, waiting to see the outcome of my damage from being treated by Helton. I went to him after I had a rear-end collision, in which I was the victim.Without proper diagnosis, no x-rays and no MRI, he started the usual routine of adjusting my spine. Pain continued and I told him regularly. I even mentioned it to the masseuse. He continued the routine adjustments with intermittent 'stress tests' at which each time he had difficulty with his machines not working properly The final stress test was a manual one where I had to maneuver my body in angles to determine my flexibility I went home with a ruptured disc and crawled for 2 days on the floor in great pain. I called that Monday to get in to him.I arrived bent over and aching. Now angry, I said I needed to see a real doctor for an MRI to determine my problem. I insisted that my disc was ruptured and he denied the possibility, and then said he could order me a MRI. Indeed, I had a ruptured disc.Two doctors later, and 2 other chiropractors agreed he was out of line for not properly diagnosing me and treating me.AND the attorney firm he suggested to me screwed me - I paid out of pocket for my own 4 surgeries - $35,000!!! And Helton got a kick-back for referring me to them.This is the final stand .... Upon going to Helton, my arms and hands worked properly, but I no longer have full use of my left hand and left arm. C7 is permanently damaged. My fingers do not work and constantly shake. Muscles are atrophied in my arm and I constantly have tremors in it. My back is weak and painful in regular increments.Another chiropractor who''s been in practice for 37 years said to me that if he'd taken MRI and studied it, he would have known not to work on me. And his employees then agree with me, that he screwed me.Healing Hands? How about Greedy Hands?
