Grandominico John M DC Introduce
For residents of Columbus, Ohio, and especially for the large student population at The Ohio State University, finding a reliable healthcare provider is an important part of staying healthy. When it comes to chiropractic care, individuals often seek a professional who can provide clear answers, effective treatment, and a positive experience. To help local residents make informed decisions, we are providing a look into the practice of Grandominico John M DC, a chiropractor located right here in Columbus. It is crucial to understand all aspects of a clinic, including patient feedback, to determine if a particular practice is the right fit for your specific needs and expectations.
Grandominico John M DC operates a chiropractic practice that serves the Columbus community. For many, a chiropractor's office is a place of hope, a destination for finding relief from pain that can be debilitating and frustrating. However, the patient experience can vary greatly from one clinic to another. Based on available public data and patient testimonials, it is clear that the perception of the care provided here is mixed. Some patients, particularly those who are first-time chiropractic visitors, have expressed disappointment with their experience, citing difficulties in scheduling appointments and feeling that the care received was not comprehensive. One review, from an Ohio State University student, described feeling like their appointment was subpar and that they lost faith in chiropractors as a result of their visit to this location. The feedback highlights that a strong connection with a patient and a clear explanation of the treatment plan are vital for a positive experience.
The office of Grandominico John M DC is located at 2000 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43221, USA. This location places it in a part of Columbus that is accessible to many local residents, including the nearby student population of The Ohio State University. Kenny Road is a well-known street, making the office relatively easy to find for those familiar with the area. For students who may rely on recommendations from the university's health services, this location can be a convenient option. However, as noted in a review, despite being a recommended place, the process of setting up an appointment was reported to be difficult. It is important for potential patients to consider both the convenience of the address and the ease of the administrative process when choosing a healthcare provider. The office's proximity to the OSU campus could be a factor for students seeking nearby care, but the overall patient experience is also a significant element to weigh.
Based on the limited public information and the specifics of patient reviews, it is possible to provide a general overview of the types of services that may be offered at Grandominico John M DC. While a full list is not available from the provided data, a patient's experience suggests that the practice includes:
- Chiropractic Adjustments: The core of any chiropractic practice. As mentioned in a review, a patient received two small adjustments. However, the patient felt these adjustments did not relieve any pain and could have been performed at home, which may indicate a need for more detailed communication or a different approach for some individuals.
- General Posture and Health Advice: The review indicates that the patient was provided with general health advice, such as "You need to work on posture." This suggests a focus on basic lifestyle improvements as part of the treatment, though the patient felt this information was already known to them and not specific enough to their condition.
- Consultation and Diagnosis: The patient went in to understand what might be wrong with their back. While the patient was hoping for a more detailed diagnosis, the appointment included a consultation, which is a standard part of a chiropractic visit.
When considering Grandominico John M DC, a few features and highlights stand out, particularly in the context of the provided patient feedback. These points are crucial for a local person to evaluate before making an appointment.
- Focus on Basic Adjustments: The review highlights a focus on simple, quick adjustments. For some patients, this might be a preferred method of care. However, for a patient with a complex, undiagnosed issue, this approach may not be what they are looking for.
- Convenient Location for OSU Students: Being a recommended location for OSU students is a notable feature. The proximity to the university makes it a practical option for students living on or near campus.
- High Cost for Short Appointments: A significant highlight in the negative sense, according to a patient, was the cost of the appointment relative to its length and perceived effectiveness. A 10-minute session that cost over $200, even with student health insurance, was described as a "joke." This is a critical piece of information for any potential patient, especially those on a budget, to consider.
- Lack of Perceived Personalized Care: The review states that the patient felt they "did not even matter honestly." This suggests that the personal connection and a feeling of being truly listened to, which are often key to a good healthcare experience, may have been missing in this case.
- Impact on Faith in Chiropractic: For a first-time patient, the experience at this clinic was so negative that they "lost faith in Chiropractors" entirely. This is a powerful indication of the level of dissatisfaction and a crucial point for others to consider.
If you are in the Columbus area and need to contact Grandominico John M DC, you can reach the office at the following information. The address is 2000 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43221, USA. You can also contact them by phone at (614) 293-9777.
In conclusion, for a local person in Columbus, Ohio, considering Grandominico John M DC, it is essential to weigh both the potential benefits and the significant concerns raised by patient feedback. The convenient location on Kenny Road is a plus, particularly for the OSU student population. However, the reviews highlight a potentially difficult appointment-setting process, a feeling of impersonal care, and a high cost relative to the length and perceived value of the appointment. A patient's experience with "subpar" care and a loss of faith in chiropractic due to their visit here is a powerful cautionary tale. If you are a local seeking a chiropractor who will take the time to deeply understand your issues, provide a detailed treatment plan, and offer clear value for your money, it is highly recommended to consider this patient feedback carefully and perhaps explore other options in the Columbus area.

Grandominico John M DC Reviews
My first ever Chiropractic appointment was at this location, which has made my willingness to try and get my problems corrected actually fixed. As an OSU student, this was the recommended place, not only was the appointment hard to set up, but the actual appointment was subpar. I was all excited to go and figure out what might be wrong with my back, but instead I lost faith in Chiropractors.I went in and was told things I already knew, such as, "You need to work on posture." And other various basic things. I had no clue what might be wrong with my back, but he gave my body 2 small adjustments, which I could have done at home. These also did not relieve any pain at all, and was just a simple back crack. Not to mention these 2 small adjustments, and a 10 minute or less appointment costed over 200 dollars with Student Health Insurance through the University. This was the biggest joke I have ever seen and I am highly disappointed. It was as if I was being treated like I did not even matter honestly, and my back still hurts constantly, even though I have improved on my posture and various other things. Overall it deserves a 0 star rating.

Jul 22, 2022 · Arick The SquirrelLeast knowledgeable and most unprofessional chiropractor I have ever encountered (and I have worked with three others). He provided inaccurate information with an eerie semblance of confidence in what he was telling me although I have both prior and since confirmed he was incorrect. His adjustments were not very helpful and he was unprofessional. Seek care elsewhere with a provider who knows what he or she is doing and read reviews prior to scheduling. Care providers: stop referring patients to this man. He is unprofessional and he does not know what he is doing. This can do more harm than good.

Jun 10, 2015 · Honest ReviewerI've gone to Dr. Grandominicofor almost 10 years. He's been consistently helpful in my recovery of injuries to my spine. I've always been happy with his treatments. I have progressed scoliosis and deteriorated disk disease, and I've seen many chiropractors for over 40 years. I'm quite happy with his ability and sensitivity to me as a patient.
