Elite Performance & Rehabilitation offers a range of services designed to address complex musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on comprehensive diagnosis, pain reduction, and restoring function.
Advanced Pain Diagnostics: The practice emphasizes thorough assessment to precisely identify the source of pain, even in complex cases involving conditions like ruptured discs, nerve root compression, or synovial cysts. This diagnostic precision informs the subsequent treatment plan.
Targeted Rehabilitation Programs: Personalized programs are developed to improve body mechanics and restore full function. These programs are tailored to the individual's specific injury or condition, focusing on exercises and techniques that promote healing and prevent recurrence.
Spinal and Joint Mobility Improvement: Through various techniques, the clinic works to improve the range of motion and flexibility in affected spinal segments and joints, which can significantly reduce pain and stiffness.
Patient Education on Body Mechanics: A key component of their service involves teaching patients about proper body mechanics. This empowers individuals to understand how their movements affect their bodies and how to adjust them to prevent future pain and injury.
Non-Surgical Pain Management Strategies: For many conditions, the focus is on exploring and implementing non-surgical methods to alleviate pain and restore function, helping patients avoid invasive procedures when possible.
Referral to Specialists (When Necessary): While committed to providing effective care, Elite Performance & Rehabilitation also understands the importance of interdisciplinary care. If a condition requires specialized medical or surgical intervention beyond their scope, appropriate referrals are made.
Management of Complex Conditions: The practice has experience working with challenging cases, such as disc herniations and nerve impingements, offering strategies to manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
Elite Performance & Rehabilitation distinguishes itself through several key features and highlights that aim to provide a unique and effective patient experience for the Tulsa community.
In-Depth Diagnostic Approach: A significant highlight is the commitment to thoroughly investigating the cause of pain. This detailed assessment, which can uncover underlying issues like disc ruptures or cysts, is crucial for developing a truly effective treatment plan, rather than just treating symptoms.
Focus on Functional Recovery and Education: The practice excels at not just providing temporary relief, but also empowering patients with knowledge about their body mechanics. By teaching individuals how to move and function optimally, they foster long-term self-sufficiency and reduce reliance on continuous treatment. This educational component is highly valued by patients.
Experience with Complex Conditions: Dr. Paul Labreche's ability to work with and improve conditions as severe as a "ruptured" L5-S1 disk and nerve impingement demonstrates a high level of expertise in challenging cases. This offers reassurance to patients with significant pain or complex diagnoses.
Commitment to Patient Progress: The goal is to see tangible improvements, with patients frequently noting that they leave the office feeling better than when they arrived. This immediate relief, coupled with long-term strategic planning, contributes to a positive treatment journey.
Professional and Knowledgeable Guidance: Patients appreciate the depth of knowledge shared by Dr. Labreche, as he "taught me a ton." This commitment to patient understanding and active participation in their recovery is a core strength.
A Varied Experience: It is important for potential patients to be aware that experiences can differ. While some report highly successful outcomes and commend the depth of knowledge and effectiveness of treatment, others have expressed concerns regarding diagnostic accuracy and feeling unheard during consultations, particularly concerning diverse patient backgrounds. This indicates that communication and ensuring patient comfort are areas where experiences may vary, and it's always advisable for individuals to voice their concerns clearly and seek second opinions if they feel their condition is not being adequately addressed or understood.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Paul did such a fantastic job. Found out I had a "ruptured" L5-S1 disk that migrated and a synovial cyst on my nerve root that was causing my sciatic type pain. Paul worked with me for several weeks and taught me different body mechanics so that I can still have full function. Very rarely did I leave Paul's office in as much pain as I walked in with. Not only did he show me how to help myself feel better, Paul taught me a ton. Can't over-recommend, I absolutely will be returning to Paul for any future PT needs. I can't thank you all enough 🙏
Mar 07, 2025 · Tyler CollumsHorrible experience--I went in for a consultation about chronic shoulder pain and tightness. Dr. Paul assessed my shoulder and concluded that I had a torn labrum and there was nothing he could do for me except refer me to surgery. That didn't sound right to me at all, and he barely looked at it. Paid $120 copay for him to do nothing and when I called to complain the manager just told me how "experienced" Dr. Paul was. Went to get a second opinion and the doctor literally laughed when I told him I was diagnosed with a torn labrum. The pain (which switched from shoulder to shoulder so the torn labrum really didn't make sense) ended up being from TMJ and I was prescribed chiropractic massage and regular adjustments. Note that I am a young black woman and I did not feel listened to or seen during this appointment. I felt my issues were quickly dismissed and did not get the attention or care I deserved. Take what you will from this, but I was very disappointed with the way I was treated.

Jan 07, 2025 · Joi RhodesAfter two full 8 week each sessions with another PT organization my Dr. referred me to Paul since my range of motion after my rotator cuff repair surgery had "frozen". He was able to help me obtain my full range of motion back. Highly recommend.

Nov 06, 2023 · Rick WilkersonDr. Paul is the absolute best. Our entire family has come to see him. He was a Godsend after our car accident. He cared deeply, provides wonderful treatment and really helped my 4 children, my wife and myself. We still go to see him regularly as he helps us holistically and he's incredibly knowledgeable (has a handful of high level degrees and great pedigree working at some high level places across the USA). I cannot recommend Elite & Dr. Paul more. If you're looking for a chiropractor, physical therapist, and wellness help, this will be your new favorite place! They have really easy scheduling and will get you living your best life.

Feb 19, 2020 · Tim BDr. Paul is so amazing! He knows what he’s doing and has the credentials to back it up. If you need physical therapy or chiropractic help this is where you need to be. I will only go here from now on.He’s so knowledgeable and uses techniques I’ve never seen before. I was really cautious about how much of my motion would return after shoulder surgery at my age. I’m so excited that I’m almost fully at full range and still have a little room to improve. He’s definitely the best in the Tulsa metro area!By the way I’ve been to over 7 physical therapists.
