Chiropractic care is a primary healthcare profession focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, with a primary emphasis on the spine. The fundamental principle of chiropractic treatment is deeply rooted in the body's remarkable inherent ability to heal itself. Chiropractors, like Dr. Margaret Winters, achieve this by utilizing non-invasive, hands-on techniques, most notably spinal adjustments, to correct misalignments in the spine (known as subluxations) and other joints. These misalignments can interfere with the proper functioning of the nervous system, potentially leading to pain, restricted movement, and a variety of other health concerns throughout the body. By restoring proper alignment and function to the spine and other joints, chiropractic treatment aims to alleviate discomfort, improve overall physical function, and enhance the body's natural healing processes, often serving as an effective alternative or complement to pharmaceutical interventions or surgical procedures.
Dr. Margaret Winters distinguishes herself with a holistic and patient-centered philosophy, extending her expertise beyond traditional chiropractic adjustments to embrace a broader spectrum of wellness. As a graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 2005, she brings a solid foundation in spinal health. However, her true passion lies in addressing the intricate connections within the body, as evidenced by her proficiency in areas like Nutrition Response Testing and her innovative approach to challenging conditions such as Lyme disease. A powerful testimonial from a patient, Mimmo La Marra, highlights this unique capability. After struggling with recurrent Lyme disease that even multiple rounds of antibiotics couldn't fully clear, Mimmo turned to Dr. Winters, who had been following his case for years. Dr. Winters prescribed a "stealth protocol" involving supplements, and as Mimmo recounts, he "felt amazing already after the third day." His profound gratitude — "I do not have enough words to thank Dr. Winters. I truly recommend her. She is a very passionate and amazing person, a true expert in her field" — speaks volumes about her dedication and effectiveness. Her gentle approach to adjustments and focus on individualized care are consistently praised by patients, establishing her as a truly compassionate and knowledgeable expert in the Towson community.

Dr. Margaret Winters Reviews
I contracted lyme disease twice, the first time in 2008. At the time, it took a while to be diagnosed, but fortunately a round of antibiotics helped me to recover. Unfortunately, I contracted it again in June of 2022, and this time it evolved into lyme carditis. The initial round of antibiotics appeared to have addressed the issue. But that was not the case. Few months later I was still feeling the symptoms of the lyme disease, and after it was confirmed, I was prescribed another round of antibiotics. That worked for a while, but it did not clear me completely. I have been going to Dr. Winters with my family for years, and she was following me along with the lyme disease issue. Eventually she prescribed to me a “stealth protocol” to aid in eradicating the disease. I had to take supplements for about two weeks. I felt amazing already after the third day of taking the supplements. I do not have enough words to thank Dr. Winters. I truly recommend her. She is a very passionate and amazing person, a true expert in her field.Mimmo La Marra
