Co-op City Chiropractic Introduce
For New Yorkers residing in the dynamic borough of the Bronx, particularly within the Co-op City area, maintaining physical well-being is paramount amidst the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're dealing with persistent back pain, neck stiffness, or seeking general spinal health maintenance, finding a chiropractic practice that offers both expertise and effective treatment is crucial. Co-op City Chiropractic, located conveniently on Bartow Avenue, has established itself as a go-to destination for many locals seeking relief and improved physical function.
Chiropractic care is a widely recognized health discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, with a primary emphasis on the spine. The fundamental principle of chiropractic revolves around the body's innate ability to heal itself when its nervous system is functioning optimally. When the spine's vertebrae become misaligned, known as subluxations, they can interfere with nerve communication, leading to pain, reduced mobility, and a variety of other health issues. Chiropractors utilize precise, hands-on spinal adjustments and various complementary therapies to correct these misalignments. This process aims to alleviate nerve pressure, reduce inflammation, restore proper joint movement, and enhance the body's natural healing capabilities. For individuals in New York seeking a non-invasive, drug-free approach to managing pain, improving posture, and boosting overall physical function, chiropractic care offers a valuable and effective solution.
Co-op City Chiropractic has garnered varied feedback regarding its administrative staff, with some expressing significant concerns. However, the consistent praise for the chiropractors themselves, specifically Dr. Nelson Hall, Dr. Henry Hall (father and son), and Dr. Gregory Werner, paints a clear picture of highly skilled and patient-focused medical professionals. As one patient recounted, "Dr. Nelson Hall took care of me with regards to the chiropractor duties. Dr. Nelson Hall was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable and informative to me. He adjusted my back and took X-rays." Another long-term patient highlighted that Drs. Henry and Nelson Hall "are the salt of the earth," emphasizing their dedication, stating, "When I couldn't walk, they took the time from their busy practice to give me the care I needed." This distinction suggests that while interactions with the front desk might be inconsistent, the quality of direct chiropractic care at Co-op City Chiropractic remains a strong draw for many New Yorkers.
Co-op City Chiropractic is conveniently situated at 2100 Bartow Ave #227, Bronx, NY 10475, USA. This address places the clinic within the heart of the Co-op City neighborhood, a large and prominent residential area in the Northeast Bronx. Bartow Avenue is a well-known thoroughfare, ensuring excellent accessibility for residents within Co-op City and the surrounding areas.
For New Yorkers relying on public transportation, Co-op City is extensively served by NYC Transit bus routes, many of which run along or near Bartow Avenue. These bus lines provide direct connections to various parts of the Bronx, as well as easy transfers to subway lines (such as the 6 train at Pelham Bay Park or Buhre Avenue) for travel to other boroughs. This robust public transit network makes the clinic highly accessible for individuals who may not have private vehicles, which is a significant advantage in a dense urban environment like New York City. For those driving, the location within a prominent complex (implied by "Suite #227" and the Co-op City address) typically suggests available parking, though it is always advisable to confirm parking specifics before your visit.

Easy and consistent access to care is paramount for effective chiropractic treatment, especially for ongoing conditions or rehabilitation. This localized presence ensures that quality care is readily available to those who need it most in this part of the Bronx.

Co-op City Chiropractic Reviews
Elizabeth and Kimberly are the horrible and very unprofessional receptionists at this chiropractor’s office which is located at 2100 Bartow Avenue Suite #227. These two women are about as unprofessional as can be . Elizabeth is about 50 years old, Spanish with glasses who is ugly looking and Kimberly is in her thirties with black curly hair, a little heavy set and light skin. Elizabeth wanted to be confrontational with me and did not want to do her job because I did not go to this office with my insurance card . Dr. Gregory Werner ended up doing Elizabeth and Kimberly’s job by getting the insurance card that they said they couldn’t get for me . Kimberly laughed at me because I didn’t sign some forms I was given and kept laughing at me and making snarky remarks to undermine who I am as a person . Elizabeth did just about everything to make my experience a nightmare . She was unprofessional, wanted to argue with and literally told me to leave because I didn’t have my insurance card and she didn’t want to even speak with the insurance representative that I was speaking to on the phone or call the insurance phone number that I had given her . It’s really a shame that Kimberly and Elizabeth still have their jobs at this office because my mother also went here and told me she had a negative experience with the receptionist here. Dr. Nelson Hall took care of me with regards to the chiropractor duties . Dr. Nelson Hall was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable and informative to me. He adjusted my back and took x-rays . Dr. Gregory Werner was very helpful in getting the digital insurance card for me which Kimberly and Elizabeth did not want to do . I will probably go back to this office because the doctors are good, helpful , informative and patient . However , I am not looking forward to interacting with Kimberly or Elizabeth because of their unprofessional behavior and attitude towards me and mother
Feb 14, 2025 · ADRIAN PANGEESTAI've been seeing Drs. Henry &. Nelson Hall, father & son, since early 2000: they are the salt of the earth. When I couldn't walk, they took the time from their busy practice to give me the care I needed. When I was a victim of a violent crime, Dr. Hall gave me the best advice that was spot on. I always feel better after treatment & my images have improved. Their front desk staff are friendly & top notch, too so it's always a treat to go there. I feel like I have a family there
