Amasia Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage & Herbs Clinic offers a truly comprehensive suite of services that integrate Eastern and Western healing modalities. This holistic approach allows them to address a wide spectrum of health concerns, focusing on both immediate relief and long-term well-being. Their key services include:
- Western Chiropractic: Under the care of Dr. Dion Zhu, this involves traditional chiropractic adjustments and manipulations to correct spinal misalignments, reduce nerve interference, and alleviate pain in the neck, back, and extremities. This service aims to restore proper joint function and promote the body's natural healing processes.
- Oriental (Zheng Gu) Chiropractics: Incorporating traditional Chinese manipulative therapy, this approach offers an additional dimension to spinal and musculoskeletal care, drawing on centuries of accumulated knowledge.
- Manual, Electrical & Eye Acupuncture: Led by Dr. Fengshan Zhu, acupuncture is a cornerstone of their practice. This involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body to balance energy flow (Qi), reduce pain, and promote healing. They offer various forms, including electrical acupuncture and specialized eye acupuncture.
- Chinese Herbal Medicine: The clinic provides customized herbal formulas to complement other treatments. Chinese herbs are used to address various internal imbalances, support organ function, and enhance the body's natural restorative capabilities.
- Therapeutic Massage (Tuina): Chinese Tuina massage therapy is offered to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and aid in soft tissue healing. This can be used in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture.
- Cupping Therapy: An ancient technique where special cups are placed on the skin to create suction, promoting blood flow, reducing muscle soreness, and releasing toxins.
- Infrared (TDP) Lamp Treatment: Utilizing specific wavelengths of infrared light, this therapy helps to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing in various parts of the body.
- Cold Laser Therapy: A non-invasive treatment that uses low-level laser light to stimulate cellular function, promote tissue regeneration, and reduce pain and inflammation.
- Decompression and Flexion-Distraction Therapy: Advanced techniques used to gently stretch the spine, relieving pressure on spinal discs and nerves, often beneficial for disc herniations and sciatica.
- Comprehensive Pain Management: They specialize in treating a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, joint pain (e.g., carpal tunnel, frozen shoulder, TMJ), and pain from auto/work injuries.
- Specialized Disorder Treatment: Amasia Clinic also treats a broad spectrum of disorders beyond musculoskeletal pain, including dermatological issues, gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory issues (allergies, asthma), stress disorders, and can even support gynecological and obstetric conditions, as highlighted by a patient’s experience with a breech baby position.

Nov 30, 2018 · Mariajose OntiverosAt 27 weeks of pregnancy, I woke up one morning with severe neck pain. I visited my family doctor and even went to the ER, but it was disheartening when they said I could not take any pain relievers. I called my friend, and she referred me to this clinic. I contacted them and was able to get in the same day. I'm so thankful for Dr. Zhu (the chiropractor) and his father (the acupuncturist). I felt much better after a few weeks of treatments through a combination of acupuncture and chiropractic care. The experience exceeded my expectations, providing a holistic and effective approach to alleviate discomfort. The acupuncture sessions were surprisingly relaxing, and I felt a subtle release of tension after each session. The chiropractic adjustments targeted specific areas, addressing the root cause of my pain. Dr. Zhu was knowledgeable and took the time to explain each step of the process. The personalized care and comprehensive approach made a significant difference in my overall well-being. While individual experiences may vary, I highly recommend exploring this combined approach for anyone dealing with neck nerve pain."

Mar 11, 2024 · Moliza WongWalk in appointment. I had neck pain and they took me right in the room and started with acupuncture. It was a little different because it's not like regular formal doctors offices, but they do care, and we'll see if my neck feels better tomorrow. An hour with acupuncture and muscle stimulating machine on my neck was 90 dollars.
