Woodward Medical Center Introduce
For residents in Woodridge, Illinois, and the surrounding areas seeking medical and chiropractic care, Woodward Medical Center aims to be a comprehensive local option. This facility offers a range of services, including chiropractic treatments, with a team of doctors dedicated to helping patients manage pain and improve their health. While many medical centers strive for seamless patient experiences, it's important for local users to understand both the strengths and potential challenges of a practice before committing to their care. Woodward Medical Center, like any busy healthcare provider, has received a mix of feedback that offers insights into the patient journey.
The core of any medical center lies in its practitioners, and at Woodward Medical Center, the doctors are often highlighted for their dedication and skill. Patients have noted that individual doctors, such as Dr. Farga, are genuinely committed to helping manage pain and that the level of care from the medical staff is high. However, navigating a large medical facility often involves more than just the doctor-patient interaction. Understanding the full scope of a patient's experience, from scheduling an appointment to administrative support, is crucial for those in Illinois looking for a healthcare provider that aligns with their expectations for efficient and thorough care.
Woodward Medical Center is located at 2007 75th St, Woodridge, IL 60517, USA. This address places it conveniently within the Woodridge community, making it accessible for residents throughout the village and neighboring towns in the Illinois region. 75th Street is a major thoroughfare, ensuring that the clinic is relatively easy to find for those driving from various parts of Woodridge and surrounding areas like Downers Grove or Darien. While the physical location is central to the community, and theoretically offers straightforward access, some patient feedback indicates that the practical accessibility regarding appointment availability and wait times can be a significant factor to consider. As with any medical facility in a busy suburban area, understanding local traffic patterns and allowing ample time for appointments might be advisable, particularly given the large volume of patients a center like Woodward Medical Center may serve.
Based on the nature of a "medical center" that includes chiropractors, Woodward Medical Center likely offers a broader range of services beyond just chiropractic care. While specific details about their full service list are not extensively provided, typical offerings at such a facility would aim to address various health needs. For the chiropractic aspect, services would commonly include:
- Chiropractic Consultations and Examinations: Initial assessments to understand patient history, current symptoms, and to conduct necessary diagnostic evaluations to determine the best course of treatment for pain management and overall health.
- Spinal Adjustments and Manipulations: Hands-on or instrument-assisted techniques to correct misalignments in the spine, aiming to alleviate pain, improve nerve function, and restore mobility.
- Pain Management Strategies: Tailored approaches to help patients manage chronic or acute pain conditions, often involving a combination of chiropractic adjustments and other therapeutic modalities. Dr. Farga is specifically mentioned for his efforts in helping manage pain.
- Treatment Plans: Development of individualized treatment plans based on a patient's specific condition and health goals. This includes ongoing care and potential adjustments to the plan as the patient progresses.
- General Medical Consultations: As a "Medical Center," it's highly probable they offer primary care services, allowing patients to see general practitioners for various health concerns, including routine check-ups and basic diagnostic tests.
- Diagnostic Services: This may include on-site or referred-out diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI, or other imaging, which are crucial for accurate diagnoses, although patient reviews suggest potential administrative challenges in managing results.
Woodward Medical Center presents a mixed bag of features and highlights, as indicated by patient feedback. While certain aspects receive positive remarks, others point to significant areas for improvement, particularly concerning patient experience and administrative efficiency:
- Dedicated and Effective Doctors: The strongest positive highlight is the quality of the medical staff. Patients generally agree that "the Dr.s are all great," and specifically, Dr. Farga is recognized for "doing his best to help manage my pain." The individual doctors are perceived as knowledgeable and caring in their direct patient interactions.
- Personalized Doctor Interaction: Despite administrative issues, there are instances where doctors show a commendable level of patient recognition. One reviewer noted, "On the way out a Dr that i have only seen 1 time knew my name and asked how i was doing. That to me shows the level of care." This indicates a genuine effort by the medical professionals to connect with patients on a personal level.
- Multiple Doctor Availability: The clinic appears to have several doctors, as one reviewer mentioned seeing "them all i do believe." This could potentially offer flexibility in physician choice, though it also contributes to the challenge of consistent patient history management if not properly coordinated.
- Challenges with Appointment Scheduling and Wait Times: A significant drawback highlighted by multiple patients is the difficulty in scheduling appointments, often taking "over a month to get one." Furthermore, "over an hour and a half past my scheduled time to be seen" or even last-minute cancellations "2 hours before your appt" without rescheduling assistance are severe concerns for patient convenience and reliability.
- Administrative and Communication Issues: The front office staff's efficiency and communication are frequently criticized. Patients report that "front office girls NEVER give the Dr messages you leave" and that test results (e.g., EMRI) were received "3 weeks prior to my appt" but "Never bothered to send to dr." This breakdown in communication can lead to doctors being unprepared, "skimming over your results in a hurry and MISSING important info," and repeatedly asking the same questions, indicating a lack of proper file review.
- Lack of Patient Recognition in System: The repeated questioning by doctors ("3 times he asked me if i had a EMRI done!!!") despite previous completion and discussion points to a systemic issue where patient files and past interactions are not adequately tracked or reviewed, leading to a feeling of being "treated like cattle" and having "no idea who you are."
- Language Barrier/Inappropriate Communication: One highly negative review mentions front office staff who "do is talk Spanish to each other while you are standing there," which can create an unwelcoming and unprofessional atmosphere for non-Spanish speaking patients.

For mobile inquiries or direct communication, the mobile phone number provided is +1 630-985-4700. The facility is located at 2007 75th St, Woodridge, IL 60517, USA. When attempting to reach the center, particularly for scheduling or questions, it might be beneficial for local users to be prepared for potential administrative challenges noted in some patient feedback. Direct communication and clear articulation of needs, along with patience, may be helpful in navigating their system to connect with the medical staff.
For residents of Woodridge, IL, and the broader Illinois community, Woodward Medical Center presents itself as a local option for medical and chiropractic care, particularly if the quality of the direct doctor-patient interaction is the primary concern. The general consensus among patients is that the doctors themselves are "great," demonstrating a commendable level of care and dedication to managing pain, as exemplified by Dr. Farga's efforts and the doctor who recognized a patient after only one previous visit. This positive feedback regarding the medical practitioners means that when you are finally seen by a doctor, you are likely to receive competent and attentive care.
However, it is crucial for locals considering Woodward Medical Center to be aware of the significant administrative and operational challenges that have been reported. Issues such as extended wait times for appointments (over a month), last-minute cancellations, prolonged waiting periods in the office (over an hour and a half), and a perceived lack of organization in file management and communication between front office staff and doctors are frequently mentioned. These concerns can lead to frustration, repeated questioning about medical history, and a feeling of being undervalued as a patient. Therefore, while the individual medical professionals at Woodward Medical Center are highly regarded, potential patients in the Illinois region should weigh these administrative challenges against the clinical expertise when deciding if this center aligns with their expectations for a seamless and efficient healthcare experience.

Read some bad post and normaly i dont do reviews but thought i would put up one. There were a few times pre covid that i waited for over an hour and a half past my scheduled time to be seen which is unacceptable BUT the Dr.s are all great. I have seen them all i do believe. Last visit i seen Dr. Farga who is doing his best to help manage my pain. On the way out a Dr that i have only seen 1 time knew my name and asked how i was doing. That to me shows the level of care.

Feb 21, 2019 · Neb5389646 Xyanuu[Severe lower back and neck issues.] Dr. D is as thorough as she is amazing while Dr Farag is simply the best doctor of any discipline I've ever encountered. Cannot recommend this center enough.
Aug 10, 2016 · Anthony YoungfeltThis clinic is great! The receptionist and staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in and the Doctors spent the time to answer all my questions. I've been to a couple different pain clinics in the Chicago area and this has to be one of the better offices I've been to.
