Chiropractic care is a healthcare profession focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those affecting the spine. Its core principle is that proper alignment of the body's musculoskeletal structure, especially the spine, enables the body to heal itself without medication or surgery. Chiropractors utilize hands-on spinal manipulation, also known as chiropractic adjustments, and other techniques to correct misalignments (subluxations) that can cause pain, reduce mobility, and interfere with nervous system function. What makes West Loop Spine & Stability stand out, as highlighted by patient testimonials, is their comprehensive and diverse approach. They go beyond simple adjustments, integrating soft tissue work, stretching, and other tools as necessary to address the root causes of discomfort. This integrated method is particularly effective for managing a wide range of issues, from everyday aches like shoulder, neck, and hip pain to more severe conditions, including those experienced during and after pregnancy. For individuals throughout Illinois seeking a holistic and effective path to improved health, West Loop Spine & Stability offers a trusted and results-oriented solution.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Eric has been amazing at West Loop Spine & Stability! I used to be skeptical of chiropractors, but Dr. Eric helped me change my mind. I’ve been coming to him for several years, and I’ve never had a bad experience. He cracks/works through my problem spots (shoulder, neck, hip) and gets me back on track. Also, he has helped my husband who experiences severe issues with his back, knee, etc. I highly recommend him and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you!
May 15, 2025 · Raji ChadhaIt is a very rare occasion that I take the time to write a review. While I have been a longtime client at WLSS, I've had an exceptional experience with prenatal and postpartum specific care. I saw Dr. Jesse almost everyday in the last two weeks of my pregnancy and he listened with compassion and care about all the ailments I was struggling with. Dr. Jesse's approach is comprehensive and diverse--combining soft tissue work, stretching, adjustments (and other tools if necessary!). WLSS is a place I've recommended many times and will continue to do so!
Mar 28, 2025 · Elise Borbon GonzalezI can’t say enough good things about West Loop Spine & Stability. I came in originally for plantar fasciitis that just wouldn’t go away, and working with Dr. Eric has been a total game-changer. He really knows his stuff and takes the time to explain what’s going on in a way that actually makes sense. Between the adjustments, soft tissue work, and getting fitted for a custom orthotic, my foot pain is now gone. What I really appreciate is that the vibe here is super welcoming—not at all intimidating like some medical offices can be. Everyone’s friendly, on time, and genuinely cares about helping you feel better. If you’re dealing with chronic pain or even just want to move and feel better in your day-to-day, I seriously can’t recommend this place enough.
May 07, 2025 · Jason PullanI went to see Dr Soutter after reading such great reviews. My experience was contrary to other reviews.First off the front desk associate kept nagging me and repeatedly sending emails and texting forms to fill one which I told her would be done before I arrived. This almost deterred me from even going to my appointment in the first place. Once I arrived she wrote down my credit card info on a piece of paper to enter later. I asked her to destroy it and she says of course.I did like the Zen feel in the place and hence that’s why it gets 2 stars. The lights were dim and the place was pretty low lit and tranquil when I arrived. If they offered meditation here I probably would sign up. However I digress. Dr Evan took me right away but did not offer to do an Xray. He just started taking notes on what I thought was wrong with my neck. Afterwards I realized there was too much guessing on his part. Next he has me lie on my face and he applies CBD oil to my neck. Then he started digging his fingers into my shoulders and neck area to see if there was pinched nerve or herniated disk. This was only painful because he was applying so much pressure and force to find a pinched nerve that I didn’t have. He told me to press toward him into the little device he was using as well and that would help him pinpoint it. I told him that it hurt and he still pressed into my shoulder with force. I’ve been to one other excellent chiropractor who moved out of state and this method was not used. It is unnecessary and painful to patients. Plus I am petite. I think assuming I had a herniated disk without any other arm or finger pain or numbness etc showed a lack of experience.Next he asks what type of adjustment did I want and I said the normal one. He adjusted my neck one side but seemed to have less ease with the other side. Eventually he adjusted that side too.Next after I inquired, he advised me to do these exercises right there to correct my neck posture which did not help. He demonstrated the first one but wanted to me to do 10 of them just after having adjusted my neck and kept waiting until I did them even after I didn’t feel comfortable. This was awkward. The next day my neck felt like it was going more in a forward direction. Also swallowing felt a little difficult. After doing some googling that’s not a good a sign of a good neck adjustment. My experience with Dr Soutter was less than satisfactory and I was shocked because other reviews said different.
May 14, 2025 · RachaelDr. Jesse was extremely knowledgeable and explained in great detail the pain and ailments I’d been experiencing. He listened with care and curiosity as I demonstrated where and what movements were causing tension and followed by giving great advice on how to adjust my gym training to aid those areas. So grateful to have found this place!
