Ron P. Cargioli, DC Introduce
For many residents across Indiana, especially those in the growing community of Fishers, the pursuit of optimal health often involves exploring a variety of healthcare approaches. While conventional medicine plays a vital role, an increasing number of individuals are turning to holistic and integrative practices to address underlying health concerns and promote overall well-being. Today, we're taking a closer look at a local professional, Dr. Ron P. Cargioli, DC, whose practice, the Cargioli Center, in Fishers, offers unique approaches to health that extend beyond traditional chiropractic care, including a focus on immune system support and specialized amino acid therapy. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of his work, incorporating insights from patient experiences to help Hoosiers learn more about this distinct local healthcare option.
Chiropractic care is fundamentally rooted in the belief that the body possesses an incredible innate ability to heal itself, provided its nervous system is functioning optimally. The spine, being the central protective structure for the nervous system, plays a crucial role in this process. Chiropractors typically focus on diagnosing and treating neuromusculoskeletal disorders, with a primary emphasis on manual adjustment and manipulation of the spine and other joints. This approach aims to restore proper alignment, reduce nerve interference, and ultimately alleviate pain while enhancing the body's natural healing capabilities. However, practices like Dr. Cargioli's often integrate broader functional medicine principles, looking at biochemical imbalances and nutritional deficiencies that may contribute to chronic health issues.
Many individuals seek out chiropractic and functional medicine approaches when dealing with persistent or complex health challenges that haven't found full resolution through conventional means. Conditions like chronic allergies, immune system weaknesses, and even neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson's disease are areas where an integrative approach might be considered. As one patient's testimonial highlights, a child struggling with allergies for two years found significant relief and clearer sinuses after Dr. Cargioli identified a "weak immune system" and initiated treatment with IAG. This demonstrates a focus on identifying root causes rather than just managing symptoms, a hallmark of functional medicine.
However, it is important to note that a second patient's experience, while initially drawn by the promise of "innovative amino acid therapy" for Parkinson's disease, raised significant concerns regarding communication, financial transparency, and the effectiveness of the proposed treatment in their specific case. This underscores the importance of clear communication, thorough explanation of treatment plans, and understanding financial commitments when exploring specialized therapies. It emphasizes that while some patients may find profound benefits, others may have different experiences, and due diligence is always recommended when embarking on new or complex health protocols.
A convenient location is always a significant factor when choosing any healthcare provider, especially for ongoing care. Dr. Ron P. Cargioli, DC's practice, the Cargioli Center, is situated in Fishers, Indiana, making it accessible to residents throughout this thriving community and its neighboring areas. The address is 12987 Parkside Dr, Fishers, IN 46038, USA. This location on Parkside Drive places the office within a well-developed and easily navigable part of Fishers, typically meaning straightforward access for local patients. For individuals living in Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, or other nearby towns in Hamilton County, this central positioning could simplify the logistics of scheduling and attending appointments, making it easier to integrate visits into a busy schedule.
Accessibility also includes considerations like parking availability and ease of entry to the facility. While specific details about the office's parking or interior accessibility are not provided, a modern practice in a vibrant area like Fishers often strives to offer convenient options for its patients. For those seeking consistent care, a local practice like the Cargioli Center offers the advantage of proximity, potentially reducing travel time and making regular visits for complex treatment protocols more manageable. However, as with any healthcare decision, it's always advisable to confirm location specifics and visit details directly with the office before your first appointment.
Based on the provided patient testimonials, Dr. Ron P. Cargioli, DC, appears to offer a range of services that extend beyond conventional chiropractic adjustments, venturing into aspects of functional medicine and specialized nutritional interventions. While a comprehensive list is not available, the reviews suggest the following areas of focus:
- Chiropractic Care: While not explicitly detailed, as a DC, chiropractic adjustments would form a foundational aspect of his practice, aiming to improve spinal alignment and nervous system function.
- Immune System Support: As evidenced by the treatment for allergies, Dr. Cargioli focuses on strengthening the immune system, potentially through specific supplements and holistic approaches.
- Nutritional Interventions (e.g., IAG): The use of IAG (Immunoglobulin A, a key antibody for immune defense) for a child's sinuses suggests a focus on targeted nutritional or supplemental therapies to address underlying deficiencies or imbalances.
- Amino Acid Therapy: Dr. Cargioli is noted to be trained in "innovative amino acid therapy," specifically from "national expert Dr. Hinz," which is often used to address neurotransmitter imbalances in conditions like Parkinson's disease.
- Holistic Health Consultations: His approach involves questioning conventional medical recommendations and suggesting alternative paths, indicating a consultative style focused on identifying root causes and comprehensive wellness.
It's important for potential patients to understand the scope and nature of these specialized services and to have thorough discussions regarding their suitability for individual conditions.
Based on the provided patient feedback, Dr. Ron P. Cargioli, DC, and the Cargioli Center exhibit a mix of distinct features and highlights, alongside areas where some patients have encountered challenges:
- Focus on Root Cause Identification: One key highlight is Dr. Cargioli's ability to identify underlying issues, such as a "weak immune system" instead of just treating allergy symptoms, leading to positive outcomes for some patients.
- Specialized Therapies Offered: The availability of advanced treatments like "innovative amino acid therapy" for conditions such as Parkinson's disease, as well as immune-boosting supplements like IAG, indicates a commitment to cutting-edge and alternative wellness solutions.
- Potential for Significant Improvement in Specific Cases: The positive testimonial regarding the son's allergy relief suggests that for certain conditions, the treatments can be highly effective and life-changing.
- Emphasis on Holistic Wellness: The overall approach appears to be one that looks at the body's systems interconnectedly, moving beyond symptomatic relief to address systemic imbalances.
However, it is crucial to also acknowledge the concerns raised in the second review, which highlights potential issues with:
- Clarity in Communication: The patient felt Dr. Cargioli "questioned the wisdom of the decision without explaining fully why he thought DBS was a bad idea" and "cited no facts," indicating a need for more transparent and evidence-based discussion, especially concerning complex medical decisions.
- Financial Transparency and Refund Process: A significant issue arose with a failed refund attempt and subsequent difficulty in resolving a $1300 payment dispute, leading to bank intervention. This points to potential challenges in the administrative and financial aspects of the practice.
- Suitability of Specialized Treatments: The patient's questioning of how much Dr. Cargioli "knows about DBS surgery and how to apply the amino acid program to it" suggests a need for patients to thoroughly vet the practitioner's expertise in highly specialized or complex conditions, particularly when considering alternatives to conventional medical recommendations.
These varied experiences underscore the importance of thorough patient inquiry and clear understanding before committing to treatment plans, especially those involving significant financial investment or alternative approaches to severe conditions.

Ron P. Cargioli, DC Reviews
My son was being treated by an ENT doctor for allergies. After 2 years of adding meds to his routine, I gave up and took him to Dr. Cargioli. He said he does not have allergies but a weak immune system. Put him on IAG and within a week his sinuses were clearer than they have been in a long time.
Dec 15, 2017 · Angie FettigI have Parkinson's disease and saw an ad on the internet that Cargioli Center had been trained by national expert Dr. Hinz in his innovative amino acid therapy. I had planned to receive Deep Brain Stimulation surgery as recommended my neurologist. Dr. Cargioli questioned the wisdom of the decision without explaining fully why he thought DBS was a bad idea. He cited no facts and did not back up his assessment even though we only talked on the phone and he could not see me. But he still suggested that we should move forward, and I reluctantly agreed, paying for 1/3 the cost of support - $1300 - and the first batch of amino acids. Then I informed the Cargioli Center that I changed my mind with the 3 days required by law. They attempted to refund the money and failed, providing me with an unreadable piece of adding machine tape to prove that they had refunded me my $1300. I contacted them 3-4 times to tell them that the refund had never appeared in my account and provided a screen print of my bank account for the dates they claimed the refund would be applied. They eventually gave up trying to help me and I appealed to the fraud department at my bank. The adjudication of the claim did not fall in my favor, so the only thing I can guess is that they either refunded the money to someone else (different Visa card) or kept the money, but I am still out $1300. I don't know how much Dr. Cargioli knows about DBS surgery and how to apply the amino acid program to it. I think anyone who uses his service and has had DBS surgery should thoroughly question him about this. I sincerely hope that I can take down this post soon. ...W Johnson
