I highly recommend Dr. Foss. He was dependable during a critical time, demonstrated excellent bedside manner, and took the time to thoroughly explain the issue at hand. My teenage daughter was in urgent need of relief, and he provided it with great compassion. He truly understood the urgency of the situation and offered flexible options to accommodate us.

If I could leave 0 starts I would, I came to Pura Vida desperate for relief — I’ve been dealing with debilitating neck, head, and sinus pain, and I specifically sought them out for their SOT therapy and cranial focus. I had an emergency Monday and had to reschedule. Then today, I drove nearly 45 minutes to the clinic, only to get lost due to GPS issues (the office is tucked in a corner of an unmarked building). I arrived 13 minutes late — and was immediately turned away. The GPS had me circling the area for a while.No grace, no compassion, no questions asked.I told them everything — how bad my pain was, that I was a single mom of three, and that I was paying out of pocket because I’m in such a desperate place physically. I even said, “I can’t live like this,” and it didn’t seem to phase the front desk woman at all (who I believe is Dr. Foss’s wife). Her response? A cold “no,” and a referral to a generic chiropractor down the street — someone who doesn’t even do SOT or cranial work.I went to my car and cried. Called back, still in tears, hoping they’d reconsider or at least send me to someone reputable. Again, nothing but dismissal. In a level 10 pain.And as for Dr. Foss — he told me directly, “I’m trying to run a small business.” I understand that. But what’s upsetting is that on his social media and website, he emphasizes serving the Mexican and brown community. As a Mexican woman, I felt none of that compassion. It’s incredibly frustrating to see minority communities used in marketing to draw in patients, only to be met with cold policies and zero empathy when you actually show up needing help.If you’re in real pain and looking for a place that sees you as a whole person — not just a number on a schedule — this is not the place. Businesses like this should be more mindful of how their actions contradict their mission. I left unseen, unheard, and still in pain. If I hadn’t been through so much trauma this would’ve broken me as I am in so much pain, the pain feels unbearable. I pray about every location I am going to see bc I’ve been seeking help since my thyroid cancer and God has always led me. This definitely feels like the devil’s deception to bring down & make me feel like this pain isn’t going away.
