Dry Needling: A specialized technique used to release trigger points in muscles, improve blood flow, and decrease pain. It can be used alone or as a complementary therapy to chiropractic care.

Pediatric Chiropractic: The team is trained to provide gentle care for children, addressing issues such as colic, developmental delays, and sports-related injuries in young athletes.

- BirthFit
BirthFit is a modern approach to women’s health, used to prepare women as they transition through the prenatal and postpartum periods. This approach focuses on strengthening and empowering women through movement and exercise. Dr. Whitney is a certified BirthFit Professional.
- Chiropractic Manipulation
Chiropractic manipulation is used to restore motion to joints in the spine or other areas of the body that have reduced movement. The providers at Midwest Movement determine which joints can benefit from manipulation through palpation, or by taking the joints through their ranges of motion and feeling which areas aren’t moving appropriately. Following manipulation, most patients report increased mobility and decreased pain and tightness.
- Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a technique used to treat sore muscles, nerve entrapments, and other conditions. Midwest Movement uses silicone cups which are suctioned on the skin over the affected areas. This increases blood flow to the area which can accelerate recovery, decrease muscle tightness, and help release “stuck” nerves. While most other myofascial treatments use compression, cupping uses decompressive force for treatment.
- Family Chiropractic
Midwest Movement is a family chiropractic office in Elkhorn, NE. We see all ages, from infants to older adults. We offer a variety of adjustment and rehab methods because each patient has different goals, preferences, and concerns. Your chiropractic care should be as unique as you are.
- Functional Movement Screen (FMS)
Functional movement screen (FMS) is used for athletes and patients to screen for potential injury risks during sport or exercise. It is similar to the SFMA but involves more advanced movement patterns, like those required during sports and exercise.
- Mckenzie Method (MDT)
McKenzie or MDT is an assessment and treatment protocol utilizing repetitive movements to treat disc pathologies and other joint limitations. In applicable cases, the provider will assess the patient to determine the patient’s directional preference, and the patient is then instructed to perform repetitive movements to decrease and/or prevent symptoms.
- Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a hands-on soft tissue technique used to treat sore, tight, and overused muscles. Myofascial release can increase mobility of muscles and fascia, improve blood flow, and provide neurological input to reduce pain and increase range of motion.
- New Patient Exam $150.00
We are in-network with most major insurance providers. For those without insurance, our cash price is $150 for the initial exam. The initial exam is the most important part of treatment. It helps us to understand your condition and develop a personalized treatment plan to meet your goals.

Chiropractic care for pregnant women is safe, gentle, and effective. Chiropractic care during pregnancy can help with low back pain, pelvic pain, improved sleep, incontinence, heartburn, headaches, faster & safer labor & birth, and improved postpartum recovery.
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
Selective functional movement assessment (SFMA) is utilized by the providers at Midwest Movement to assess motions and movement patterns throughout the body to gain a better understanding of the patient's condition. This assessment helps to highlight each patient’s underlying problem areas, which allows the providers to direct interventions to maximize patient outcome. Midwest Movement implements the SFMA with every patient because we believe if providers aren’t using a thorough assessment, then they’re just guessing at treatment.
- Webster Technique
Webster Technique is an assessment and adjustment used by chiropractors to treat the pelvis and surrounding muscles and ligaments. Webster Technique is especially beneficial in pregnant women because it can help to optimize the pelvis in preparation for birth. Dr. Whitney is Webster certified.
