Dr. Susan Rivard is a chiropractic neurologist. I've been going to Susan since 1993 when I was referred to her by an experienced alternative nutritionist. Susan came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. Within a very short period of time, she was able to correct a debilitating neck strain that had caused intense headaches. Over the years, she has been able to address various health issues for not only me, but also for my husband and son. I had taken my son to a pediatrician and an allergist when we found a cyst behind one of his ears. These professionals were unable to help. With Susan's diagnostics and adjustments, the cyst dissipated and was no longer an issue which was more than astonishing. Susan is one of the most knowledgeable chiropractors I know -- there are only about 2% of chiropractic neurologists in the United States. She is professional, loving, and has a servant's heart. I recommend her to many of my contacts and they have also found her services to be reliable and helpful. She even has patients come in from around the state and also abroad because of her skill in adjustments.

The most rude, inconsiderate narsasistic "Dr." I've met in a very long time. I first met her at a presentation she gave at a tea House. She offered her services with an advanced deposit of $200. My daughter and I suffer from severe hormone imbalances, food allergies and sensitivities and fatigue. I have Hashimotos and Addisons. We needed direction.My first appointment was cancelled because my husband was in hospice and I had little to no time. He was paying away from 15 years of fighting cancer. She was gracious to let me reschedule. I set it out a ways because I know everything was about to fall apart for our family. The same month he does, we were evicted and out car was repossessed. We lost everything. I have four children.The day came for my daughter and I to go see her. I was so stricken with grief I could hardly get out of bed. My thyroid was worse and I needed help desperately. I tried to get ahold of her, that early morning with text (her normal way she communicated with me), email and voicemail. She did not answer her phone, call, text or email back.We decided to push forward and go anyway, late, but we were there. I couldn't stop crying from my grief. My body hurt so bad I couldn't touch my toes or battery the my shoes.Susan was with another patient when we arrived, so she was obviously running behind as well. We waited. After she was done, 10 min later, she asked us to wait in her exam room(a corner of her house dining room)Hey vibe was very holier than thou. I was mortified, frustrated and felt ignored. She told me she only had time for one, so I let my daughter go. I say in the waiting room in tears, exhausted and feeling worse.She was so disrespectful and rude, not understanding of my worsened condition and didn't barely acknowledge me. I left the house and sat in the car. In full tears.The women there were doing weird things such as a balance ball and some kind of light Goggles.I emailed and texted her that I needed to know what the late fee was. No response. Then I emailed her to apply my portion save the late fee to my daughter's account. No response.My daughter said she was so appalled at the way she treated me, she didn't want to go back. So I lost $200 and I'm no better.I don't recommend her AT ALL. especially if you are so I'l at times you have to cancel.I'm sure she will see this. I hope she doesn't treat anyone else work this kind of disrespect, especially someone as sick as me.
