I had been going to dr adamo for over a year. They were very friendly people. I actually enjoyed my experiences with their personalities. I went there for chiropractor and physical therapy. I started to go less. Not because i was any better. My results from other doctors can prove that. But i wasnt receiving the time i thought i should be. I never knew of a place that performed any kind of physical therapy for only 10 minutes and it was over. I had asked several times how long a physical therapy session was and how much it was. I never recieved an answer. Until my case was about to settle. And i found out things i never knew the entire time. Medicare was paying my treatments, but i also have to reimburse them. They charged medicare 90.00 each time for physical therapy. The part where they actually touch you. And yet i only recieved about 10 minutes each time. It was supposed to be for my leg left shoulder and arm and neck. Yet a rarely got my leg touched. And mostly all i got was icy hot rubbed in and my arm moved up and down and around. I never had any excersized to do. No weights. No bands. Nothing. Nor was i offered it. They also charged for muscle stim and hot/cold packs. 65.00 for muscle stim. And 50.00 for hot/cold packs. For each session on physical therapy. Which i did not recieve 95 percent of the time Because i refused them because it was uncomfortable. It was not included in the physical therapy session. It was billed seperately. When i messaged them asking about it. They were not so kind. They basically avoided me. Telling me i needed to contact the place that sent the physical therapist. But yet all the treatments were added up on the paperwork they sent to me. When i contacted the owner of the physical therapy, i was told that the therapist as well as the chiropractor office told them i did recieve those treatments. I recieved very little because i refused them. And they charged medicare anyway. And just because medicare did not pay for it all, doesnt mean they didnt bill them and try. Medicare made adjustments but that adjustment was based on them telling medicare i had those treatments. When i can actually prove i wasnt even in the office long enough to recieve all those treatments plus chiropractor. The office blew me off. Blocked my number. And after i called them. They told messaged me and told me i wasnt blocked. Because they unblocked me. My ph told me several times i could not contact them. And as soon as they got back to me. After i called them. My ph never said i couldnt get through to them. I contacted medicare and they told me to contact the fraud department because they never should have charged for any service they did not perform. Even charging 90.00 for a 10 minutes therapy session. They can say all they want. But i have witnesses and phone records to prove that i was not even there long enough to get a half hour therapy session. I also had chiropractor session the same days. I was worked on about 20 minutes total. So how it is possible i was there long enough to have that much therapy. You figure that out. I am writing this for anyone who has an issue. Check what they arw actually charging you for. And if medicare or any insurance is paying for services not rendered. Then report it. If you sign off on services you did nit recieve through medicare. It is fraud.
