Chiropractic care is a holistic healthcare discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. At its core, chiropractic philosophy recognizes the body's remarkable innate ability to heal itself. Chiropractors believe that misalignments in the spine, often called subluxations, can interfere with the nervous system's optimal function, leading to various health issues such as pain, reduced mobility, and overall dysfunction. Through precise, hands-on techniques, primarily spinal adjustments, chiropractors work diligently to correct these misalignments, thereby restoring proper nerve flow, alleviating discomfort, and empowering the body's natural healing processes. For many Hoosiers, this approach translates to finding significant relief from persistent pain, improving flexibility, and experiencing a marked enhancement in their quality of life, all without the need for invasive procedures or pharmaceutical reliance.
The benefits of chiropractic care at a reputable clinic like Crossroads Chiropractic and Rehabilitation extend far beyond immediate pain relief. Patients often seek care to improve their posture, recover from sports injuries or car accidents, manage chronic headaches and migraines, and even address conditions like sciatica or carpal tunnel syndrome. It represents a non-invasive, drug-free pathway to health that aligns seamlessly with a proactive and wellness-oriented lifestyle, a choice increasingly valued by health-conscious individuals throughout Indiana.

Dec 11, 2020 · Amanda AndertDr. Elizabeth is awesome! She listens to your aches and pains and resolves them with her vast knowledge. She's sympathetic, yet firm. I first started seeing her after a car accident and when the insurance claim settled, the adjuster said she was the most reasonably priced chiropractor she had ever seen. Thumbs up!
Dec 12, 2019 · Colette HardestyDr Bouse is a great communicator. Very professional but accessible. She ask detailed questions and really gets to know your needs as an individual patient. Shes one of the first chiropractors that I went to where as you're getting treated she explains to you exactly why she is adjusting you the way she is and shes constantly educating herself on new techniques and forms of treatment. As a restless leg sufferer I have had to go alternative medicine to find relief. Dr. Bouse is also trained in dry needling. I do both adjustments and dry needling and to date it's the only thing that gives me relief. I highly recommend her practice.
Nov 11, 2021 · B EastDr. Bouse is amazing! I’ve been to three chiropractors in the area and she’s by far the best! She’s extremely personable and really gets to know your exact situation so she can set a personalized care plan for your specific needs. If you’re looking for a chiropractor, look no further!
Mar 16, 2021 · Randy HartogI injured my lower back two years ago doing some heavy lifting and never sought treatment. I thought it would heal with time. This was the first time I have ever been to a chiropractor before, and I was a little skeptical. I read reviews for several places and it seems like people have mixed response depending on what they thought was going to happen or what they thought a chiropractor does. So - I picked Crossroads because it was nearby and had good reviews, with minimal negative reviews - there is always someone who is unhappy with something.Initially we went through a consultation which was a brief chat where they educated me on what they do and how they do it. After that I explained what I was experiencing and for how long. She did a bunch of "tests" by having me bend different ways and do certain things so she could determine what she was dealing with. She could tell pretty quickly what I was dealing with and determined it wasn't anything major - skeletal, hips, joints, etc. She was able to isolate it to a group of muscles in my lower back. After that she said it would be 4-5 visits, but only because it was in a chronic status at this point because I put up with for two years - which is my fault. Next - she started treating me. She did a couple adjustments, which immediately relieved my whole back and spinal cord, then she suggested that we use "dry needle" treatments. If I'm being honest, I was terrified. I don't like needles and she was still a stranger. The only reason I reluctantly went with this treatment is because she had gained my trust. She knew what she was doing, she wasn't pushy, and she educated me through the process. She was very honest about everything through the whole process. The treatment worked very well, and she even said that my muscles responded to it so well that I would really only need 1 more treatment. That is what I think I liked most about Crossroads. They didn't try and sell me on anything or try to get me to commit to lot's of treatments. They diagnosed the problem and designed a treatment plan. I was extremely comfortable the entire time. highly recommend.
