Alamitos Bay Chiropractic & Wellness Center Introduce
Are you a Californian in Long Beach or the surrounding coastal communities, seeking a comprehensive approach to health that extends beyond just pain relief? Alamitos Bay Chiropractic & Wellness Center, led by Dr. Michael Wooten, offers a unique blend of chiropractic expertise, physical therapy, and wellness strategies designed to help you not only recover from discomfort but also optimize your performance and overall well-being. In a vibrant and active city like Long Beach, maintaining peak physical condition is paramount, and this center provides the specialized care many locals are looking for.
Chiropractic care is a healthcare discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, primarily those affecting the spine. The core philosophy centers on the body's innate ability to heal itself, with the nervous system playing a pivotal role. Misalignments in the spine, known as subluxations, can interfere with nerve function, leading to various symptoms like pain, numbness, tingling, and reduced mobility. Chiropractors use precise manual adjustments to correct these misalignments, thereby restoring proper nerve flow and promoting natural healing. However, as demonstrated by Alamitos Bay Chiropractic & Wellness Center, modern chiropractic often integrates other modalities to provide more comprehensive and lasting relief. For active Californians, understanding this integrated approach is key to addressing not just symptoms, but the underlying causes of their physical challenges.
Alamitos Bay Chiropractic & Wellness Center stands out by embracing a holistic and patient-centered philosophy. This means that Dr. Wooten and his team look at the entire individual, considering lifestyle, activity levels, and specific goals when developing a treatment plan. As evidenced by glowing patient testimonials, they don't just focus on the immediate pain but delve into correcting postural and muscular imbalances, which are often at the root of chronic issues, especially for athletes or individuals with demanding physical routines. This personalized and comprehensive approach is particularly beneficial for Californians seeking sustainable health solutions and an active partner in their wellness journey.
For any local business, especially a healthcare provider, location and accessibility are crucial. Alamitos Bay Chiropractic & Wellness Center is conveniently situated at 5929 E Naples Plaza, Long Beach, CA 90803, USA. This prime location places it in the picturesque and easily reachable Naples Plaza area of Long Beach, making it readily accessible for residents from Naples Island, Belmont Shore, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, College Estates, Rossmoor, and other surrounding neighborhoods. Naples Plaza itself is known for its inviting atmosphere, providing a pleasant environment for patients visiting the center.
The strategic positioning on E Naples Plaza means the center is easy to find and reach via major local routes, simplifying travel for those driving. Ample parking in the plaza is typically available, reducing any stress associated with finding a spot – a common concern in busy California communities. For those who may rely on local transportation, the area is generally well-served, ensuring that patients can consistently attend their appointments without undue difficulty. This accessibility underscores the center's commitment to serving the Long Beach community, making comprehensive care within reach for a wide range of individuals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wow! This is what chiropractic is supposed to be. I started seeing Dr. Wooten after having numbness and tingling in my arms for years. It finally started turning into pain all the way to my hands. I have a background in body building and athletic training, and the chiropractors I saw prior to seeing Dr. Wooten didn't really help, and they didn't seem to understand the importance of maintaining my activity level. "Quit body building for at least a year" was the recommendation they all seemed to agree upon. Dr. Wooten didn't quite see it that way. He encouraged me to continue training, but with specific modifications he designed for my condition. After meeting me at my gym and evaluating my workout, he devised a course of treatment that included not only chiropractic adjustments, but all kinds of treatment to correct my postural imbalances and muscular imbalances - something that as a body builder, I thought I was acutely aware of. Dr. Wooten pointed out several compensatory reactions my body was having to my training, and recommended the exercises to get my body and muscles to work in a "kinematic chain." Boy, was that the difference! Not only did the pain disappear, but my performance increased as well. I was so incredibly impressed with Dr. Wooten and his physical therapy and massage staff that I asked to become part of his team to help him with his patient and athlete rehab. Not only have I basically been cured after years of pain and ineffective treatment, but I've learned a great deal through Dr. Wooten's teachings. Thanks Dr. Wooten and the staff and The Belmont Health Center.

Jan 31, 2015 · gregory gilbertI have been a patient of Dr. Wooten for a few years now and cannot say enough positive things about him and his staff without sounding like ohana (family). I actually do feel like ohana when I visit Dr. Wooten. Whether it is my right knee, my lower back, or shoulder he is always professional, caring, friendly, and seems to know exactly what will help make me feel better. I travel frequently so I am not able to visit the doc as often as I would like, but he also help by giving me specific exercises I can do while on the road to help alleviate the pain and make flying or driving bearable. He also provides guidance to the masseur to provide additional relief. After a therapeutic massage, I feel even better physically and definitely more relaxed.

Aug 28, 2015 · Robert GotoI went to see Dr. Mike after my brother recommended him. After hearing rave reviews, I went to see Dr. Mike for a shoulder problem I have had for a while. I re-injured it playing basketball, and the pain was getting worse and worse with each passing week. When I started getting weakness in my arm I decided it was time to go see a doctor. I was amazed at how Dr. Mike seemed to know exactly what was wrong with my shoulder after just a few minutes talking to him. He would say, "Does it hurt when you do this?" YES! "Does it hurt when you do that?" YES! "But you can do this with no problem, right?" YES! I definitely didn't want surgery, but the Doc said that it was a possibility, and if that time came, we would evaluate it and he'd recommend a great orthopedic surgeon. Well, after three months of treatment and home/gym exercises that Dr. Wooten prescribed, I'm pain free and able to play sports without giving my shoulder a second thought. I do still go in every so often to get the Kinesio Tape to my shoulder since I can't seem to get it right when I do it myself. Incredible work. I'm highly satisfied and have referred two of my sisters to see Dr. Mike whenever they are in town.
