Advanced Chiropractic of Philadelphia Introduce
For many residents of Pennsylvania, especially those in the bustling city of Philadelphia, finding a reliable and effective chiropractor is crucial for managing pain and achieving a better quality of life. Advanced Chiropractic of Philadelphia stands out as a dedicated local practice, known for its personalized approach and commitment to patient well-being. This article will provide a comprehensive look at what makes this practice a suitable choice for locals, highlighting its convenient location, the range of services it provides, and the high level of care attested to by its patients.
Chiropractic care is a form of healthcare that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders related to the musculoskeletal system, with a particular emphasis on the spine. The philosophy behind chiropractic treatment is that proper spinal alignment can positively impact the nervous system and, in turn, a person's overall health. Advanced Chiropractic of Philadelphia embraces this philosophy with a patient-first mentality. Their approach is not simply about quick fixes, but about resolving the root cause of a patient's pain and promoting long-term health. The team at Advanced Chiropractic aims to create a welcoming and professional environment where patients feel heard and cared for, ensuring a treatment plan is tailored to their specific needs and health goals. This dedication to individualized care is a key reason why so many people in the Philadelphia area turn to them for their chiropractic needs.
The practice is conveniently located at 1518 Walnut St, #1206, Philadelphia, PA 19102, USA. This address places it directly in the heart of Center City, making it exceptionally accessible for a large portion of the Philadelphia population. Being on Walnut Street, in the Rittenhouse Square area, means the office is easily reachable via multiple forms of public transportation, including SEPTA buses and regional rail lines. Suburban Station is within a short walking distance, and the Broad Street and Market-Frankford subway lines are also close by. For those who drive, while parking can be a challenge in Center City, numerous public garages and lots are available in the vicinity. The central location is a significant benefit, as it allows patients to seamlessly fit their appointments into their busy schedules, whether they are coming from work, home, or running errands in the downtown area.
Advanced Chiropractic of Philadelphia offers a diverse range of services, combining traditional chiropractic techniques with other therapeutic modalities to provide a holistic and effective treatment experience. The goal is to address not only the immediate pain but also the underlying issues contributing to it.
- Chiropractic Adjustments: The core of their practice, these manual adjustments are used to correct spinal misalignments. The chiropractors are skilled in a variety of techniques, including Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, SOT, Thompson Drop Table, and Full Spine Therapy.
- Spinal Decompression: This non-surgical therapy is often used to treat chronic back pain, herniated discs, and sciatica. It involves gently stretching the spine to relieve pressure on the discs and nerves.
- Deep Tissue Massage: Used to relieve muscle tension and improve circulation, deep tissue massage works in conjunction with adjustments to provide more comprehensive relief and enhance the healing process.
- Myofascial Release: A therapeutic technique that focuses on releasing tension in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, nerves, and organs. This can help improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Personalized Stretching and Exercise Plans: Patients are often given customized plans to perform at home. These exercises are crucial for strengthening the body, improving flexibility, and preventing future injuries.
- Graston Technique®: An instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization method that helps to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions, often used for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and tendinitis.
- Treatment for a Wide Range of Conditions: The practice is equipped to treat various conditions beyond standard back and neck pain, including headaches, fibromyalgia, sciatica, balance disorders, vertigo, and injuries to the shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, and feet.
Advanced Chiropractic of Philadelphia distinguishes itself with several key features and highlights that are frequently mentioned by satisfied patients. These attributes underscore the practice’s dedication to providing superior care.
- Thorough and Personalized Assessments: As one customer review notes, the chiropractors take their time to perform a thorough assessment, ensuring they fully understand the issue before developing a treatment plan. This contrasts with other practices that may rush through appointments.
- Immediate Pain Relief: The practice is focused on providing immediate pain relief, rather than drawing out treatment over an extended period. This "treat and release" philosophy is highly valued by patients who are seeking a quick return to their normal lives.
- Dedicated Practitioners: Real customer feedback highlights the dedication and care of the chiropractors. Dr. Ari, for example, is praised for his thoroughness and willingness to try different techniques until a patient feels relief. Dr. J is lauded as a "lifesaver" who focuses on immediate results.
- Versatility in Techniques: By offering a combination of chiropractic methods and other therapeutic modalities, the practice can tailor its approach to each patient's specific condition and comfort level, from gentle adjustments to more intensive techniques.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Ari is a fantastic chiropractor! I've seen a number of chiropractors over the years and Ari stands out because he actually takes his time with each client. I never had a chiropractor do such a thorough assessment of my condition and make sure I understood the issue and his proposed treatment plan. I saw another chiropractor a month before Ari for the same issue, and he would give me two adjustments in 5 minutes and send me on my way. In contrast, Ari spent about 5 times longer with me and did a number of different techniques. He would also check to see if I noticed a difference, and if I didn't, he would try a few more adjustments until I felt relief. He is incredibly dedicated to the wellbeing of his patients. He's also fun and interesting to talk to!
Feb 06, 2025 · Laura RathsmillDr J is a lifesaver. He is tough to get to but so worth it. I've been in constant pain for over a year due to my back problems, plus I have a pinched nerve in my neck. However, after one session, I felt relief. He is the only chiropractor that I've found that focuses on immediate pain relief instead of dragging it out to keep milking you for money.
Jul 01, 2025 · Jaclyn PoupardThe first time I came here I was feeling desperate. My back was out for months. I was seeing a different chiropractor but every time I left the office I was in worse shape than when I walked in. The first time I saw Dr Jamieson he fixed me instantly. It almost felt euphoric when I stood up. Now I come here as soon as possible anytime I throw my back out. Dr Jamieson is the man. I highly recommend this place to anyone with back pain.
