Due to hair’s natural growth cycles, more than one treatment is needed with any kind of laser or intense pulsed light device including SpectraClear™. Hair has a growth cycle with three separate phases. It is only possible to disable hair growth during the active (anagen) growth phase. Different areas of the body have different growth cycles and varying amounts of hair will be in the anagen phase at any one time. For this reason, multiple treatments are needed for optimal hair removal results.
